Dr Jamora is currently an Active consultant and Section Chief of Dermatopathology at Makati Medical Center Department of Dermatology. She is the Residency Training Officer and Head of the Immunodermatology Unit of the Skin and Cancer Foundation Inc. She also serves as a part time Medical Specialist III at the Department of Dermatology of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center, where she also heads the Dermatopathology Unit and is Chair of the Hospital Bioethics Committee. She is a visiting consultant and dermatopathologist at St Lukes Medical Center Quezon City.
Dr Jamora is a Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) since 2005 , having served several terms as board director, secretary and treasurer. She has also served in the PDS in many capacities. She has been the Chair for the PDS Research Committee, PDS Human Resources, Volunteer Committee and young PDS groups, Immunodermatology Interest Groups, Skinweek, preconvention committee, nominations board), and convention scientific committees . She has also served as member for the membership, outreach, constitutional amendments committee, is a member of the functional and integrative dermatology interest group and is a peer reviewer and associate editor for the Journal of the PDS. Dr Jamora is undergoing certification in Dermoscopy (the dermatologists stethoscope) and has been training colleagues since 2013. She currently heads the PDS Dermoscopy Interest Group.
Dr Jamora was a PDS Diamond Awardee for Exemplary Service and a Presidential Plaque of Recognition Awardee in 2012. She was named “Doctor of the Year in 2013” by Psoraisis Philippines, a patient group for her contribution to psoriasis advocacy in the Philippines. She has published dozens of journal articles in both local and international journals and presented lectures here and abroad as a sought after speaker. Her published researches have been given special recognition by the PDS and Makati Medical Center in 2016-2017. Dr Jamora ws also given a 15 year service Award at Makati Medical Centers 49th Foundation Anniversary in 2018 and 2019.
She is a fellow of the Dermatopathology Society of the Philippines-PDS and the Philippine Academy of Cutaneous Surgery and the Philippine Society of venereology and Sexually Transmitted Infections. She is an international fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, International Society of Dermatology, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Asian Society of Dermatopathology, and the Asian Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She is a Lifetime Member of the Philippine Medical Association and the Quezon City Medical Society, where she was awarded Member of Distinction and stood their Nominee for Outstanding Filipino Physician in 2021. Dr Jamora’s professional life exemplifies a physician dedicated to upholding the highest standards in medical care.. Moreover, her thoughtful approach to comprehensive clinical management is commendable, but more remarkable is her compassion and care for her patients.
Dr Jamora believes everyone deserves their health stories to be held. Her latest achievement is receiving certification in Integrative Dermatology through the LearnSkin certification. The integrative approach to dermatology is of great value since the skin quickly reflects ones inner health, such as stress-related ailments and systemic inflammation.
